Parents and Carers

Partnership with Parents

Parents and carers are children’s first educators.  At Alice Model Nursery School we aim for parents and staff to work together to have a positive impact on your child’s development and learning.

We aim to keep parents informed about curriculum and other developments through regular newsletters.
Key-persons’ are available to talk to parents on a daily basis about their child progress, and are invited to a parent conference each term to have a formal talk about their child’s development and learning.

We encourage parents to take an active part in their child’s learning in a variety of ways, e.g., inviting them in to the nursery to share their skills, accompanying children on trips, and participation in events and celebrations.
We also have several parent representatives on the governing body that help to discuss and review plans and to make strategic decisions for the school.

Parent View

Parent View gives you a chance to tell Ofsted what you think about our school and your child’s learning.  We value your opinions and encourage you to share your experiences.
